I.C.D.P. BRASOV is established by reorganization based on Law no. 45/2009, Law 72/2011 and H.G. no. 954/2017.
The Institute is a public law institution, organized as a public institution, with legal personality, under the subordination of the Academy of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences „Gheorghe Ionescu-Șișești” Bucharest.
